High Maintenance
As you may notice, my blog has undergone some maintenance! I'm quite excited about the changes too. My blog has become high maintenance now that I have so many dedicated readers and I've become such a hit (translated: I only have a few readers who are dedicated to reading about my life and they all have cooler, fancier blogs than I do...and I love each one of you for it!!)... Anywho, I got jealous of their blogs and when I realized my friend Kathryn used Photoshop to make hers all snazzy, I was bummed. Until I saw my friend Allie made hers cutesy too, and I knew she doesn't have Photoshop. Needless to say, I made a search to figure out where she did it! And I found success!! Shabby Blogs has become my new best friend! That and Foto Flexer! (Getting sick of all the hyperlinks yet???) I feel like I've moved to a new level here in "blog world." The "You've got a fancy title header" Level. That's like, big stuff. So, to my oh-so-dedicated-and-dearly-loved-readers out there, Enjoy the changes! I hope you like them!!

Way to go Megan! Thecutestblogontheblock.com also has free pre-made headers (under "Free Banners"). This is how it all starts! You start out with the premade stuff...start playing with HTML code...ad before you know it, you'll be a photoshop master! :)

ReplyDeleteTwo things: it's really funny you said you made tons of changes because when I was commenting last night EVERY TIME I went to a new page (clicked on "comment," signed in my blogger name, etc...) there was a new background and I was thinking, "WOW. She even figured out how to put up a new background every time you refresh the page!! I don't even know how to do that!" Haha.
ReplyDeleteOther thing: Another tip-- Kevinandamanda.com is a great place for fonts. It's where I find all of my cutesy fonts.
haha...sorry! I'm not that good however...just fickle with my blog design! (And I didn't know how to disable it or anything, or else I would've!).

And Allie, I practically carried on a conversation with myself on FB posts...until I decided to just delete them all because it seemed pathetic! haha
You are so funny! I love the make-over you did. Good job! I can totally relate the feelings of inadequacy the blog world can bring. :) Translated: I have finally come to realize that only a handful of people really care about following what is going on in my life. Nonetheless, i love reading your blog and love the new look. blog on sister.
